Alisha and I had an appointment to meet her Japanese friend Ashley and her mom Masumi and babysister Hannah in the Ivey Watson Playground in Kingspark. This is one of the best playgrounds I have ever seen for children aged 2-7 years old.It is protected from the harsh Australian sun and it has either sand, or bark or tartan surfaces to ensure they do not get hurt. There is covered and colourful picnic tables and children's toilets..
They played, and crawled and slid and jumped and we had a picnic. We left at one o'clock when they were both too tired to walk...and I had to carry my fairy with all the rest of the goods to the car. Of course it was moan moan al the way home for the comfort of her bed!
